Neither can be the original. They are poised at the beginning of my effort not to disappear, twice without reason. The foundations in ignorance that sound a low doh, with the inherent power to ascend the octave to the same thing become wisdom. The same longing for "the station which is no station."
My paintings are not to be viewed separately but in pairs, or trios... In this show there are 5 in a relationship - a family - coherent in that a polyphony of discreet parts cancels out to a conceptual silence.

In search of Higg's Boson is a series engendering all possible dates: to the death of our Sun. They act as an ubiquitous clock that serves to remind us of both our mortality and our immortality.
The form itself cannot be made in three dimensional space but suggests the possibility of doing so. It hovers in the mirror between the formless and the realizable. Contemplation lies in the polishing of this mirror.
